This Article is Proof You Can Make Your Dreams Come True
You’re probably asking yourself how could I possibly justify this headline to you. It’s pretty easy, actually.
Most people never have time to make their dreams come true because they’re busy making other people’s dreams come true — namely your boss.
And I fell into this trap again and again so many times in my life. I postponed and procrastinated until I found myself in my thirties, overstressed, and with dreams I could never materialize.
And now, as I was preparing for Shabbat, an idea came up to my mind. If you’re not familiar with Shabbat, it’s what we jews call Saturday, only it’s not just the day, but also the religious practice of “turning off” and resting.
As I’m writing this, I need to finish Friday cleaning AND manage to eat lunch in under two hours. Who even has time to write?
But I decided to do it anyway because I said to myself, this article will be a constant reminder to me and anyone else that you CAN carve out time to do the things that matter to you, and not just what life throws at you like your day job and relationships.
If you manage to know what you need to do, you can carve out time smarter instead of assuming what you want to do will take hours of your day so you never schedule it.
