This article feels strongly biased against YouTube. Here’s one thing YouTube does that TikTok doesn’t and will keep creators around: Sharing ad revenue. YouTube has a high entry bar, yes, you need 1000 subs and 4000 hours of public watch time, but once you get there, YouTube gives you 55% of the ad revenue your videos generate.
TikTok’s creator fund can never compare and as a fixed amount will only keep dwindling as more creators join TikTok.
YouTube is a business while TikTok is a social media network.
