The One Thing Wrong With Buying Shoes Online

Every time I search for shoes online, I find only shoe pictures in front of a white background, or maybe the shoe worn by a person but it’s either never a person that looks like me, or the person is never shown fully and the body is cropped very close to where the shoe ends.

Why is it like this?

I want to know how the shoe that I want to buy looks on a person with large thighs like mine and beefy calves.

A shoe is an integral part of how a person looks. Not giving a full context is like giving a treatment against headaches without figuring out why they happen in the first place.

You have no idea how many times in my past I bought shoes that looked nice on other people but didn’t look nice on me.

And what’s the incentive for a company to invest in anything but the culturally accepted body shape? There is none. If there was, we would have already seen varied mockups pop up on sale pages.

And if it’s all about the money, then perhaps we could take advantage of the situation while also providing a much needed service. If you’re a person with a body shape different then the one models usually have when sporting Medium-sized clothes, review your purchases and show off your body.

People like me scour the web for reviews of shoes and other clothing items by people that look like us! Put ads on your site, I don’t care. As long as you make me feel seen, I’ll return.

Don’t you agree it’s a much needed service? What do you think? Shout out in the comments!
