PWAs sound like an awesome substitute for Apps stores. BUT, the technology seems to grow mostly on Chrome at this point — and so on Google by extension. This isn’t a problem at this point. Nevertheless, I’ll be even more satisfied when I learn PWAs are supported by other major browsers as well — like Firefox for example.

If the little browsers won’t pick up the technology as well, we’ll remain with a giant Google store with Chrome as its distributor.
