I’m curious, Erica Buist, if you mean only the “join my newsletter” trend or other types email subscriptions as well. What about subscribing to an e-mail course? or a content subscription where the writer sends out short stories or fiction?

Is it only the aspect of talking about yourself (newsletter) on your email list that drives you away? or the entire concept as a whole?
