If Writing Consistently Doesn’t Work, Go Short-Form

It will help build your consistency.

Writing blog posts consistently is a skill that most beginning writers struggle with on their journey.

The pandemic certainly doesn’t help when we all feel stressed out or worried about our livelihood.

But writing 150 words is a very different task than writing 300, 500, or 1000. A specific well-polished idea can be transferred in less words.

Consider this process:

  1. Think about one well-thought-out point.
  2. Write it down in one sitting.
  3. Edit until the fluff is gone to reduce even more words.

And voila! You have a helpful blog post for your readers! It’s not ideal in the long run since, SEO-wise, you need to go longer. But this process will help you build consistency — a skill that will change your writing career.

Good luck!
