I Regret Not Learning to Ride a Bicycle
I should have done that years ago.
When I was in high school, we had bicycles at home. My older brother was always riding one to get from one place to the next.
Bicycles weren’t my thing back then — computers were.
Today I see how bicycles could have saved me a lot of time. I also have a newfound appreciation for motor skills now that I’m learning how to drive a car. Yes, you read that right — I’m in my thirties without driving a car.
It didn’t help that I had free bus rides from my dad’s work as a bus driver for up to my thirties.
I guess life didn’t push me to learn those things. And today, I regret that comfort.
