How to Reclaim Your Attention Span
You need a break and a plan.
Over the last few months, I noticed a dramatic decrease in my ability to stay focused on anything that isn’t Work or Money-related.
A year ago, when I started reading Oathbringer by Brandon Sanderson, I could sit hours upon hours to read. I got his latest two days ago, and it’s still on my shelf untouched. Where did that passion go?
I’m stressed. The pandemic didn’t help, but I don’t think it’s heavily-related to what you or I am going through.
I think my attention span is eroded because I’ve been so focused on doing survival things that my creativity suffers. Whether it’s family, work, or plain survival issues, I need a break and a plan.
Once you know where you’re headed and how to get there, stress will dissipate.
