Brandon Sanderson Changed My Creative Journey
Day #8 of the Annual Writing Challenge.
In 2019, Brandon Sanderson visited Israel. By then, I was wholly obsessed with his book series — Stormlight Archive — and brought the three books I had for signing.
I didn’t have much time while he was signing my books, but I did tell him about my friend who got better after I bought him Sanderson’s books.
And he told me, “thank you for giving my books as gifts. It means a lot to me.”
And that made me think how amazing it would be to one day be in his place, thanking readers who bought my books for their friends.
Until I met Brandon Sanderson in person, my writing dreams were still dreams. After I met him, they became ambitions.
