An Ode to Michael Jackson’s Earth Song
This song had such a strong impression on me for years.

Around twenty years ago, I saw Earth Song for the first time. I was a teenager.
Can you imagine what this song did to regular people all over the world? Seeing so much suffering, so much chaos, and then reverting all of it, grain by grain of sand.
It was a utopia of a song to believe that we humans could turn back time. And yet, the very idea of this song was so powerful that it stuck with me for years after I saw it first.
As we step closer to the future every day, that song is always a constant reminder of the power we have.
