5 Reasons You Should Stop Writing About Medium
This will be my last article about this platform.
If you follow my work for a while, you know I help content creators — especially geek ones — to build their online platforms.
One such way I do so is by recommending them to start writing on Medium. This platform is terrific to start seeing speedy results with engagement and traffic, but many creators misuse this opportunity and write about Medium itself. Let me open your eyes: Only writers care about that!
So, without further ado, here are five reasons why you should stop writing about the platform on the platform!
You Won’t Get Curated
Per Medium’s policies, articles that talk about the platform itself are automatically disqualified from Curation.
That should be enough to deter you from writing about the platform, but you keep doing it because you still think there’s an audience for that kind of content. Well, there is, but it’s not the one you want to attract unless you want to associate yourself as a “Medium Writer” instead of “A Writer.”
