3 Things I’m Excited to See in Dimension 20: A Starstruck Odyssey
We are two weeks away from the premiere of A Starstruck Odyssey — a whole new season of Dimension 20. If you’ve been paying attention, you know I’m a fan of the show and have interviewed various people who work on it, including Brennan Lee Mulligan — its creator.
This season, in particular, is going to be wild, and there’s so much hype going on. In this essay, though, I want to condense the hype into three main things I’m excited to see in this season!
The Core Cast!
It’s been a long time since we had a season with the cast that started it all. It’s not that other seasons have been less good or anything like that. It’s just that this cast has a special place in my little nerdy heart. I love them so much!
Dimension 20’s First Sci-Fi Season!
The closest D20 ever got to Sci-Fi was in The Unsleeping City with its technological marvels. And yet, it was essentially magical.
This season is set in a pure science fiction setting. I don’t even know if there’s “space magic” in the world of Starstruck. But that’s on me for not knowing the comic, and I’m excited to dive into that world. I’ve already preordered the digital reprint to find out in February!
